It’s nearly Bashin’ Trash season!
If you enjoy the Missouri and Sun Rivers and all the benefits these amazing resources provides, this is your chance to give back! Join this annual event to clean up over 140 miles of the Missouri and Sun Rivers. We need volunteers to help on the water (if you have your own boat) and on land. Sign up today to clean up your favorite reach, park, or trail!
For 2026, we are changing the format of this event to span spring and summer. Pick your date, gather your friends, family, or coworkers, and pick up your Bashin’ Trash Cleanup Kit from the Sun River Watershed Group or High Plains Conservation District. CLICK HERE to request more information.
Each group will get supplies needed to do a cleanup including BINGO sheets for everyone. You can pick your park or river area to cleanup or we can suggest an area for you. Send us your group photos and BINGO sheets to be entered for prizes, which will be awarded at the end of the season.

May 29: Bashin’ Trash Kick Off cleanup event at Giant Springs Park
June 27: New to town? Come meet friends and pick up trash. Lower Sun River near Great Falls, location TBD
July 25: High Plains Conservation District Cleanup Day. Fishing reach Cascade-Craig.
